Flatiron – Progress shots

This weekend I set up my easel on 23rd and Broadway and painted an urban landscape. Luckily I got a good 6 hours in before a bored parks department with a power trip kicked me off the sidewalk outside Madison Square Park.

  1. That flatiron building is quite something, isn’t it? The pie shape is wild…but I guess architect artists just deal with what they’re given, like paint artists. I don’t get the (p” . Translate? Urban landscape- no trees? birds? green? Scraped, alright. Go camping the next time you’re bored. Your first painting looks at me every time I sit at my lifeless computer. Miss you.
